When originally introduced to the market in the US, slurried silica fume was
stored and batched using trailers such as this. The trailer would be taken
from plant to plant as determined by project requirements. Very few
concrete producers maintain silica fume as a standard concrete ingredient;
instead, they only inventory silica fume to meet project requirements.
Today, these trailers have been replaced with less costly installations.
