When the silica fume is delivered in bulk, whether in wet or dry product
form, it is best to handle all batching through the existing plant computer
system. Silica fume then becomes just another ingredient for the plant
system to add to the concrete.
Typically, for the dry silica fume, it is batched into the cement weigh
hopper and weighed with the cement.
